After the Launch of Pokemon GO!, people have started using the GPS on their devices quite Extensively.People who used to conserve battery by turning off the GPS when not navigating have also started using GPS for Pokemon GO!
So one thing that came out of all this Pokemoning Around was that the GPS takes too much time to lock into a location, and the only good fix obtained will be outdoors under the clear sky.
Pre-Requisites:
- Rooted Device
- ES File Explorer (With Root Permissions Granted)
- gps.conf file respective to your country from here (find file to download in the end article)
Procedure:
- Extract the gpsconf.zip and browse to the country where you are currently at.
- Copy the gps.conf file inside the folder to your internal storage on the device.
- Open ES File Explorer and Copy the gps.conf file to

5. Reboot Your Device!
Your GPS should fix Almost Instantly Now when on High Accuracy Mode.
